ন্যাশনাল সেন্টার ফর সিসমোলজির দেওয়া তথ্য অনুযায়ী, শনিবার ১১টা ২৭ মিনিট নাগাদ ভূমিকম্প অনুভূত হয়। ভূমিকম্পের উত্তপত্তিস্থল উত্তরাখণ্ডের উত্তরকাশী থেকে ১৫ কিলোমিটার পূর্ব থেকে উত্তর পূর্বে। ভূমিকম্পের গভীরতা ভূপৃষ্ঠ থেকে ১০ কিলোমিটার গভীরে। যদিও ভূমিকম্পে ক্ষয়ক্ষতি বা প্রাণহানির কোনও খবর পাওয়া যায়নি।

গতকালই ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে ওঠে ওডিশার বেরহামপুর। রিখটার স্কেলে কম্পনের মাত্রা ছিল ৩.২। ন্যাশনাল সেন্টার ফর সিসমোলজির দেওয়া তথ্য অনুযায়ী, শুক্রবার ৯টা ৪৫ মিনিট নাগাদ ভূমিকম্প অনুভূত হয়। ভূমিকম্পের উত্তপত্তিস্থল বেরহামপুর থেকে ১০৭ কিলোমিটার উত্তর থেকে উত্তর পশ্চিমে। ভূমিকম্পের গভীরতা ভূপৃষ্ঠ থেকে ৫ কিলোমিটার গভীরে। তবে ভূমিকম্পে কোনও ক্ষয়ক্ষতি বা প্রাণহানির খবর পাওয়া যায়নি।
